Product Introduction

MX206 is a high-precision RTK and PPP positioning module independently developed by Tersus, supporting full-system and full-frequency signals of BDS/GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS. Based on a 22nm low-power RF baseband and high-precision algorithm integrated SoC chip design, the module is mainly targeted at high-precision positioning application fields such as surveying and mapping, precision agriculture, UAVs, and robots.

MX206 is equipped with 1040 tracking channels, enabling simultaneous reception and processing of full-system and full-frequency satellite signals. Adopting a leading RF architecture and integrating a professional-grade digital NIC narrowband anti-jamming unit, it ensures excellent signal reception and processing performance even in complex electromagnetic environments. The module can intelligently detect and adapt to the signal environment, dynamically adjust the acquisition strategy, improve acquisition efficiency while effectively reducing power consumption, and meet the needs of various power-sensitive applications.

MX206 is equipped with an advanced processor system, built-in double-precision floating-point arithmetic unit, and supports RTK/PPP positioning result output up to 20Hz. The module adopts a 17×22mm LGA package and integrates rich peripheral interfaces, including CAN, SPI, UART, I2C, etc., facilitating users to achieve diversified system integration.

In addition, MX206 supports TAP, the satellite-based precise point positioning service independently developed by Tersus. In extreme environments without communication network coverage such as oceans and deserts, without relying on local RTK base stations or CORS systems, the module can achieve centimeter-level high-precision positioning by receiving precise ephemeris and correction parameters broadcast by L-band satellites.

  1. RF Front-End

The module obtains amplified GNSS signals from the active antenna through a coaxial cable. The RF part further amplifies and filters the input signal, and inputs the filtered signal to the main chip.

  1. RF-SoC Chip

The main chip is a full-system and full-frequency SoC chip with an advanced 22nm process. Equipped with a 600MHz application processor, integrated with a double-precision floating-point arithmetic unit and a built-in NIC narrowband anti-jamming unit, the single chip completes baseband data processing and positioning solutions such as RTK&PPP.

  1. External Interfaces

MX206 includes external interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, PPS, and EVENT.
